



Mission:
The Administrative Division manages the delivery of fire
protection, fire investigation, and fire prevention inspection
services within the city as well as emergency medical services
area wide. The Administrative Program provides the leadership
and direction; and provides administrative, managerial, budgetary,
logistic and planning activities for departmental operations.
Activities include administration of the personnel recruitment
function, managerial and specialized technical training for
departmental personnel,
approval and processing of all purchases for the department,
administration of the EMS transport revenue program, coordination
and supervision of the preventative maintenance program of the
fire and rescue apparatus fleet, coordination of all facility
maintenance, and coordination and availability of a Critical
Incident Debriefing System and other employee assistance activities
and functions.

Services:
Manage training programs including recertification. Review Fire,
EMS and Dispatch divisions to insure quality service. Provide maximum
service allowed within budget constraints.
